This book is placed in a world which is in War with the demons. So, people will need to join an army as a volunteers to combat against these dark force and defense their World from these dark army.
Also, this army is called The Shadow Crusade and that's why the name of the book.
During the story, we follow two young characters in the story who join to this army and train to fight.
One of them is characters is Halira. She joined to this warriors because the demons slaughtered her parents.
This is a great story, I'm enjoying it very much like Soul of The Crow. And also you can feel the dark and gothic vibes of the author here. I enjoyed the Lovecraft's references too.
In the other side to the characters, these ones have their own voices. You can't loss any of them.
